Compare / Lode and Service Fusion

Keep Service Fusion. Improve the work around it.

Start with one task around your existing tool. Review a sample result, then confirm the records and access it needs.

Keep the work your team already manages in Service Fusion. Lode is built to take on the follow-ups, checks and coordination around those records. Start with one task and confirm the connections your account can provide.

When to add Lode

  • The job is recorded but the next customer reply still needs chasing.
  • Supplier messages need comparing with purchase and invoice records.
  • A delivery change affects the crew plan and customer update.

Choose one of these tasks for a walkthrough. Review a sample output, then confirm which records and account permissions it needs. See how Lode runs and the operating examples.

What stays in Service Fusion

Service Fusion runs scheduling, dispatch, and invoicing for home-service contractors, with flat-rate pricing and unlimited users on every plan.

Service Fusion's scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and customer records stay in Service Fusion. Its QuickBooks integration and its Open API stay with Service Fusion. Keep those records and daily workflows in your existing system.

The API boundary

Service Fusion exposes an Open API, a REST and JSON interface secured with OAuth 2.0. It can read and create customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, products, technicians, and calendar tasks. The API is available on the Pro plan, which is the top tier. The Pro plan is about $533 a month billed annually, or $627 month to month. The API is rate limited to roughly 60 requests per minute. On the lower plans, the API is not included, and integrations fall back to Zapier or Make.

Confirm the records available through your inbox, accounting package and existing account permissions. Use those records to plan the first workflow with the Lode team.

The quote tracking guide covers the follow-up loop a sent quote needs. The quote follow-up guide covers the timing and message rules. Compare the other systems in the comparison hub.
