Tool / System API check

Trade software API check

Choose the records and access Lode needs to prepare work around your existing tools.

Six of the eleven systems below publish an API with no plan tier stated. Three more have one on a plan tier. One, Tradify, has none. One, Buildertrend, is unconfirmed. Every fact in the table is the vendor's own statement, with a link to the source page. Where the pages checked say nothing, the cell says so. Filter by country or trade, then copy a row as plain text. Use the table to choose the records Lode can bring together for follow-ups, cost checks and operational reviews.

How to read it

  • Public API. "Yes" means the vendor publishes developer documentation that any developer can read. "Yes, on a plan tier" means the vendor names the plan or build that includes it. "No" is the vendor's own statement. "Unconfirmed" means a vendor page mentions an API, but no documentation, keys or webhooks were found.
  • Auth. How an outside system signs in to the API, in the vendor's words.
  • Webhooks. Whether the vendor documents webhooks, and on which plan. "Not stated" means the pages checked did not say.
  • Accounting partners. The accounting packages the vendor itself names as integrations. The list says nothing about how well each sync works.
  • Markets. The countries the vendor states on the pages checked. A country filter hides systems whose pages do not state one, and says which.
  • Trade. "Trades and home services" or "Construction", from the vendor's own description of who it serves. Zapier is not trade software, so it shows under either.
  • Search only. The vendor's host blocked automated readers, so the fact comes from a search result that quoted the page. Treat it as unconfirmed until read by hand.
  • Inferred. The fact was read from a pricing table, a region menu or a spec, not stated in a sentence.

Vendors change plans and documentation, so check the source for your account before you decide. This check is one of the tools on this site.

Questions people ask

Does Tradify have an API?

No. Tradify's own page says it "does not currently offer a public API or self-service API keys (as of September 2026)". It documents no webhooks for third parties.

Who turns on API access in ServiceTitan?

An administrator on your ServiceTitan account. ServiceTitan's developer guide says the permissions must be enabled by an administrator on your team before an app can connect.

Is the Housecall Pro API on every plan?

No. Housecall Pro's help centre says only Max plan customers have access to the API key, and webhooks are Max only.

Does Jobber use API keys?

No. Jobber's developer documentation says "Jobber uses OAuth 2.0, not API keys", and a company admin authorizes each app.

Does Simpro's API need a particular build?

Simpro's API FAQ says the API works on Simpro Premium builds. That page sits behind a login, so the fact is marked search only.

How does Lode work with these systems?

Lode brings permitted job, inbox and accounting records together to prepare work for approval. The comparison pages explain the workflows around each tool.
