Compare / Lode and Simpro
Keep Simpro. Improve the work around it.
Start with one task around your existing tool. Review a sample result, then confirm the records and access it needs.
Keep the work your team already manages in Simpro. Lode is built to take on the follow-ups, checks and coordination around those records. Start with one task and confirm the connections your account can provide.
When to add Lode
- A revised drawing changes work already priced to a cost center.
- Supplier bills need comparing with purchase and delivery records.
- A site variation needs its source notes and pricing decision together.
Choose one of these tasks for a walkthrough. Review a sample output, then confirm which records and account permissions it needs. See how Lode runs and the operating examples.
What stays in Simpro
Simpro's public API documentation lists jobs, job cost centers, quotes, schedules and supplier records. Its marketplace lists accounting integrations. Keep those records and workflows in Simpro. Confirm which records your own account can provide before planning a connection.
Plan a workflow alongside Simpro
Bring one job and the messages around it to a walkthrough. We assess the records available from Simpro, your inbox and accounting tools. Your account administrator confirms access before any connection is planned.

What the documentation confirms
The public Developer Center links to API documentation. Its resource index includes job cost centers and supplier orders. Lode uses those records alongside drawings and supplier messages to prepare cost and variation reviews.
The Premium-build and OAuth authentication statements are labelled search-only because the help page could not be read in full. We retain that limit here. Ask Simpro to confirm plan eligibility and authentication instead of assuming that every build has the same access. The older help URL now redirects to an article shell.
