Compare / Lode and Tradify
Keep Tradify. Improve the work around it.
Start with one task around your existing tool. Review a sample result, then confirm the records and access it needs.
Keep the work your team already manages in Tradify. Lode is built to take on the follow-ups, checks and coordination around those records. Start with one task and confirm the connections your account can provide.
When to add Lode
- The quote is in Tradify but the latest customer reply is in the inbox.
- Supplier confirmations need comparing with the job plan.
- Accounting records need checking alongside site notes.
Choose one of these tasks for a walkthrough. Review a sample output, then confirm which records and account permissions it needs. See how Lode runs and the operating examples.
What stays in Tradify
Tradify's quoting page describes quote preparation, job creation and invoicing. Keep those records and daily workflows in Tradify. Its API page also lists native accounting integrations, including Xero and QuickBooks. Availability and record coverage must be checked for the firm's own account and region.
Plan a workflow alongside Tradify
Bring one job and the messages around it to a walkthrough. We assess the records available from Tradify, your inbox and accounting tools. Your account administrator confirms access before any connection is planned.

What Lode is built to add
These workflow examples show the records to connect and the work your team can review. Confirm access before planning a connection.
| Task to review | Records to connect | Prepared output |
|---|---|---|
| Unbilled change orders (variations) | Site notes, quoted scope and invoice records | Extra work needing a price decision |
| Changed drawings | Transmittals and active job references | Affected jobs and the source of each revision |
| Supplier bill checks | Purchase order, bill and delivery record | Quantity or price differences for review |
| Plans after a schedule change | Materials, crews, access and customer commitments | A proposed plan and related messages |
| Regular job checks | A job question and the records needed to answer it | Repeating reviews with a named owner |
| Workflows around your tools | The firm's bottleneck and approval rules | A proposed tool around existing records |
The API boundary
The API page says Tradify does not offer a public API or self-service API keys as of September 2026. It also says no third-party webhooks are documented. Lode uses the inbox and accounting records around that API boundary to prepare follow-ups and cost checks.
Confirm the records available through your inbox, accounting package and existing account permissions. Use those records to plan the first workflow with the Lode team.
